Photos of Fog’s stand-in stint as queen...

Panto season 2004/5 was Snow White and The Seven Dwarves at London’s
Victoria Palace theatre. Foggie played Muddles and the star of the show was
BAFTA-winning LILY SAVAGE. It was essentially the great sell-out QDOS
production from the previous year at The Bristol Hippodrome.
Lily Savage
was very ill for a few days and Foggie, as her understudy,
took her place for eight performances as the Wicked Queen.

On a sad note, on the 31st May 2003, Foggie’s father died. He suffered a heart attack aged 78,
and was cremated the following week. It was a beautiful sunny day in Liverpool when Foggie
and his family scattered his ashes to the waters of the river from the Mersey ferry. They all felt
it was a fitting resting place for an ex-Royal Navy man and scouser. May he rest in peace.

This summer Foggie is working for Thomson Holidays, and cruising the Mediterranean with Ocean Village Holidays aboard MV Ocean Village. At the end of the year and into 2007 panto will be at the Derngate theatre in Northampton with the one and only Julian Clary!

The first of June 2004 was a bit of a milestone date...25 years of Foggie Flax!...the SILVER JUBILEE!

This coming Christmas season, Fog will once again be at the Derngate Theatre in Northampton. Last year he was
there in Dick Whittington with the inimitable Julian Clary, but he’s back by public demand for this year’s festive
offering of Peter Pan. Hearthrob DAVID ESSEX will star as Captain Hook, East Enders’Sophie Lawrence will play
the title rôle, and Fog will be the knockabout pirate Smee.....you’d better book early!
